However attractive it may be, this is not for everyone. Though the costs of admission and studying in Canada may be less in comparison to other similar countries, it still is huge and may be out of reach for a vast majority of Pakistani students.
MINIMUM overall cost to get admission, including College/University Fees for first year, may be around C$30,000. Be prepared. It may reach C$40,000 depending on the college/university and/or program you select. This cost does not include your boarding/lodging costs once you are in Canada. Also be aware that overall process may take up to 6-9 months so plan accordingly.

- Select College/University
- Select only those Colleges/Universities and Programs that offer PGWP (Post Graduate Work Permit) https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/work/after-graduation/about.html
- Select Program to study, only those that offer PGWP.
- Programs that are offered after High School (12 years of study) are called Undergraduate Programs.
- Any program that has a duration of up to 1 year can be a CERTIFICATE/DIPLOMA program.
- Any program that has a duration of 1 – 3 years is a DIPLOMA program.
- Programs that have duration of at least 4 years are DEGREE Programs.
- Programs that are offered after 16 years of study are called Post Graduate Programs.
- Select session to study.
- Write your IELTS test as required by your college/university.
- Apply to College for admission.
- Receive Letter of Acceptance
- Pay College Fee for ONE FULL YEAR
- Apply for Police Certificate from within Pakistan
- Get the medical done (IOM, Migration Health Division, Pakistan)

- If visa application gets rejected, you can apply again. The new application is reviewed independently and MAY BE ACCEPTED. It happens.
- If visa application gets rejected, you can ask the college/university for refund of your fees. Different colleges/universities have different due dates for The refund request need to be submitted within their due time so check this with your college/university BEFORE TIME.
- Refunded fees will be paid thru wire transfer to APPLICANT’s bank account.
- Refund processing time depends on colleges and universities.
